Since 2001, designing a certificate in Certificate Creator meant using our left-hand accordion panel.

While it served us well for over two decades, it had one major limitation: you could only preview one item at a time. Finding the right border or clip art meant repeatedly clicking down a long list of filenames just to see what each graphic looked like, all while consuming 320 pixels of valuable canvas editing space.

Today, with the release of Certificate Creator v5.1.0, we are thrilled to launch our biggest design workspace overhaul yet: The All-New Component Gallery.

The new Component Gallery transforms how you browse and build certificates:

  • Full Visual Grids: See hundreds of Borders, Clip Art, Banners, Seals, and Badges at once in high-resolution thumbnail grids—no more guessing or clicking filenames one by one.
  • Instant Keyword Search & Category Pills: Search across the entire catalog with instant search, or tap category pills (Academic, Sports, Corporate, Formal) to filter in real time.
  • 1-Click Cloud Bookmarks: Click the star icon on any asset to save your favorite components across all your devices under the dedicated Bookmarks tab.
  • Reclaimed Canvas Space: The permanent sidebar is gone! When you’re done browsing, collapse the gallery into a slim Gallery Bar or close it entirely to enjoy a full-width workspace.
  • Built-in Creation Tools: Draw and save custom signatures or drag-and-drop your organization’s logos directly within the gallery.

You can access the Component Gallery at any time:

  1. Click “Browse Components” on the new Empty Canvas Starter State.
  2. Click “Component Gallery” in the top navigation or use the expandable Gallery Bar at the top of your workspace.
